Problem

PG in Kokrajhar offers paying-guest accommodation for students and working professionals. The business needed a website where people could browse rooms and where the owner could manage listings and bookings.

What I built

As a freelance engineer I delivered the platform end to end, from requirements to deployment:

  • Listings managed in Sanity CMS, with room photos served from Sanity’s image CDN.
  • Role-based user authentication on Supabase.
  • Availability and booking requests on each listing.
  • A Next.js frontend deployed on Vercel.

Key decisions

Content in a CMS, accounts in a database. Listings live in Sanity, so they can be updated without code changes. Accounts and availability live in Supabase.

Role-based access. Accounts have separate roles, so each user only sees and does what their role allows.

Next.js on Vercel for the frontend and deployments.

Results

  • The site is live at pginkokrajhar.com.
  • Listing management, availability and role-based accounts are running in production.
